Move your Wix blog into Notion

1. Export your Wix site with Decamp

Paste your Wix address into Decamp. The free inventory lists how many posts, pages, images, categories and tags we found, plus anything that can't move (store products, bookings, forms).

Prove the site is yours by adding one meta tag in Wix (Pages → ⋯ → SEO basics → Advanced SEO → Additional tags) and publishing.

Check the free preview of your three newest posts, then pay once and pick “Keep Wix URLs” as the destination. That sets the new URL pattern used for internal links and the redirect file.

Download the ZIP. Keep your Wix site live until the import below is finished.

2. Import into Notion

Unzip the export. In Notion: Settings → Import → HTML, then select the files in html/posts (and html/pages if you want them).

Each file becomes a Notion page with its headings, lists, links and quotes. Images referenced from ../../images/ come in when the images folder sits next to the html folder, as it does in the ZIP.

Prefer Markdown? Use Import → Text & Markdown with markdown/posts. Notion ignores the front matter, so dates and tags won't become properties.

3. Make it a database

Select the imported pages → Turn into database, then add Date, Category and Tags properties. inventory.csv has each post's date, categories and tags to copy across.
