Keep your Wix blog comments when you move
Comments are the part of a blog that readers wrote, and the part every Wix migration quietly loses. Wix doesn't export them, the RSS feed doesn't carry them, and copy-paste guides skip them.
Decamp reads the published comments on each post and writes them into the WordPress import file as real WordPress comments, under the right post, with the commenter's name, the original date and replies kept as replies. Every comment is also listed in comments.csv for other platforms.

1. Export with Decamp
Paste your Wix address. The free inventory counts your posts; comments are read at export time.
Prove the site is yours with the meta tag, check the free preview and download the ZIP.
2. Import into WordPress
Tools → Import → WordPress, upload wordpress/wordpress-import.xml. Posts, images and comments arrive together, already approved.
Turn on comments for posts in Settings → Discussion if your theme hides them.
3. Other platforms
comments.csv lists every comment with its post, author, date and the comment it replies to. Disqus and Hyvor Talk can import comments from the WordPress file itself.
Questions
Are commenters' email addresses included?
No. Wix doesn't make them public, so they can't be exported from outside. Names, dates, text and replies are.
What about pending or deleted comments?
Only published comments are visible on your site, so only those are exported.
Does Ghost import them?
Ghost's importer doesn't accept comments; Ghost's own comments are tied to members. Use comments.csv as an archive, or keep the conversation on the old posts linked from the new ones.
And Squarespace?
Yes. Published comments on Squarespace blog posts are exported the same way.
