Webflow to WordPress, images included

The standard recipe, as WPBeginner and others write it, is four tools: export the CMS as CSV, rebuild every static page by hand (the CSV doesn't have them), import with WP All Import, then install an Auto Upload Images plugin because the CSV only carries links to Webflow's CDN. The alternative is the code export, which needs a Workspace plan and still can't be imported into WordPress.

Decamp does it from the published site. You get one standard WordPress export file (WXR) with your posts and pages and their SEO descriptions, and the image files in the ZIP so WordPress's own importer copies them into your media library.

Free inventory and 3-post preview. One payment per site when you download.

1. Export with Decamp

Paste your Webflow address. The free inventory counts posts and pages and shows any other CMS collections.

Add the short verification code in a Text Block on your home page, publish, and check the free preview of your newest posts.

Pay once and download the ZIP before you cancel or downgrade Webflow.

2. Import into WordPress

Tools → Import → WordPress → Run Importer and upload the file from the wordpress/ folder. Tick “Download and import file attachments”.

Set Settings → Permalinks to “Post name”. Your post slugs are the Webflow ones, but Webflow puts posts under /blog/, so the redirect file below matters.

3. Redirects

Install the Redirection plugin and import redirects/wordpress-redirection-plugin.csv so /blog/post-name keeps working. Then point your domain at WordPress and cancel Webflow.

Redirect files included: WordPress Redirection plugin CSV · .htaccess · Nginx. Old links and Google results keep working, and our free redirect checker confirms every one after the move.

Questions

Does the Webflow design come across?
No export can do that. You get clean content (headings, text, lists, links, images, video embeds) for a WordPress theme or block editor.

Why not just use the CSV?
It works for post text, but it excludes static pages, keeps images on Webflow's CDN (they break when you delete the site) and has no redirects.

Are categories and authors imported?
Not yet: Webflow stores them as CMS references that aren't on the public page. Post text, dates, images and SEO descriptions are.
