Guide · Squarespace → Webflow

Move your Squarespace blog to Webflow

Webflow has no Squarespace importer, and Squarespace's own export is a WordPress XML file Webflow can't read. Most migrations end with someone pasting posts into the CMS one by one.

Decamp reads your published Squarespace site, every blog and every post with its body, images, categories, tags and SEO description, and gives you a CSV that Webflow's CMS imports directly.

Free inventory and 3-post preview. One payment per site when you download.

1. Export with Decamp

Paste your Squarespace address. The free inventory counts your posts and pages.

Prove the site is yours with the meta tag in Settings → Developer Tools → Code Injection (Header), or by pasting the code into a text block on your homepage.

Preview three posts for free, pay once, choose “Webflow” as the destination and download.

2. Import into Webflow

Create a Blog Posts collection with Name, Slug, Post Body (Rich Text), Post Summary, Main Image, Published Date, Categories, SEO Title and Meta Description.

Collection → Import → webflow-framer-csv/posts.csv. Map Main Image to the image field; Webflow fetches the pictures from Squarespace's CDN during import, so do it before you cancel.

3. 301 redirects

Site settings → Publishing → 301 redirects, using redirects/webflow-301.csv: /blog/slug moves to your Webflow collection path.

Redirect files included: Webflow 301 list · CSV. Old links and Google results keep working.

Questions

I have more than one blog on Squarespace.
They all come through in the same export. Split the CSV by the Original URL column if you want separate Webflow collections.
