Get your site out of GoDaddy Website Builder
GoDaddy's Website Builder (Websites + Marketing) has no export at all. The usual advice is to copy every page and blog post by hand and download each image, which takes anywhere from a few hours to a full day.
Decamp reads your published GoDaddy site, including the full text of every blog post with formatting and images, and hands you files that WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Framer, Squarespace and static site generators import directly. A 301 redirect map is included.
Free inventory and 3-post preview. One payment per site when you download.
1. Export with Decamp
Paste your site address. The free inventory counts blog posts and pages, and lists what can't move (store products, appointments).
Prove the site is yours: paste the short code Decamp shows into any text block on your homepage in the GoDaddy editor and publish. Delete it after the check.
Check the free preview of your newest posts, pay once, pick your destination, and download the ZIP.
2. Import on the new platform
WordPress: Tools → Import → WordPress, upload wordpress/wordpress-import.xml, and tick “Download and import file attachments”.
Squarespace: Settings → Import & Export → WordPress, same file. Ghost, Webflow, Framer and Markdown each have their own folder and steps in README.md.
3. Keep your domain, switch the DNS
Most GoDaddy builder sites use a domain registered at GoDaddy. You don't need to move it. Point its DNS records at the new host once the new site is ready.
GoDaddy blog posts live at /f/post-slug. Add the 301 redirects from the redirects/ folder on the new host so old links and Google results keep working.
Questions
Does my GoDaddy online store come across?
No. Products are counted in the inventory but not exported. GoDaddy's commerce dashboard can export products as CSV.
Will it keep my design?
No tool can carry a GoDaddy design to another platform. Your text, images and posts move; you choose a new theme.
